Jason Mraz

>> 7/10/2009

Yeah, I won concerttickets for Jason Mraz live in London at radiostation Q-music. I just had to tell why they should send me to the concert. I told them I loved his music and his latest cd was great, but I wasn't able to go to his concert last year in Amsterdam, because I was abroad. Fortunately my reason won two concerttickets including air tickets, hotelreservation and some spending money.

Everything was perfectly arranged. We spend two days in London. The first day we went to the Thames to enjoy all the activities around.

We also had a ride in the London Eye. What a spectaculair view.

Afterwards we went to our hotel. To refresh ourself. The hotel was near the Apollo Hammersmith, but yet we took the bus. We found the venue at once and I was really getting excited.

I knew it was going to be a good evening, but what I had experienced
was amazing. Jason was in top form. Everything was perfect; the music, the lights, the audience etc. He also had two supporting acts; Two Spot Gobi and Marit Larsen. They impressed me and I am also a Two Spot Gobi fan.

Jason Mraz played:

1. Song For A Friend
2. The Dynamo of Volition
3. Mary Jane (Rick James cover)
4. You and I Both
5. Sleeping to Dream
6. Love For A Child
7. Live High
8. Lucky
9. A Beautiful Mess
10. Make It Mine
11. I’m Yours
12. Three Little Birds jam (Bob Marley cover)

Encore:
13. Mr Curiosity
14. Tonight, Not Again
15. There’s No Stopping Us
16. Butterfly

We sang. We danced. But we didn’t steal anything.

The next day we went to Camden Town and afterwards we had to go to catch our plane to head back home. My opportunity to see the man live in my favorite town London was over.
