A new year (day 1)

So the new year has started. Welcome 2010.

For us it was a quiet day after a late night which we celebrated with family at our place. This morning started with a nice breakfast with the family. After breakfast we watched the dvdset of Ally McBeal. I bought the dvdbox a couple of months ago, but didn't had the time to watch it. We didn't watched all the episodes, but we had to see the two episodes with Josh Groban (serie four - The wedding and serie five - nine one one) in it. It was so lovely to see (young) Josh again as Malcolm Wyatt. Loved this role. It is such a pity Josh doesn't act that much because to me he is doing a great job.

Just a small note; don't you think he looks like Daniel Eric Gold who plays Matt Hartley in "Ugly Betty"? Why didn't they ask Josh to play this part?? Maybe too busy with his new cd. Josh we are still waiting ;)

Late in the afternoon we visit my parents-in-law to wish them a happy new year. They weren't able to come last night because my father-in-law wasn't feeling well. They just live a block behind our house. They were watching "Sissi - Schicksalsjahre einer Kaiserin". This movie is always shown around Christmas/New Year on Dutch television, but I like to watch it. After that we went home, because we had a leakage in the shower and my husband has to fix it. I am not capable to do it, fortunately he can.

While he was busy upstairs I had to watch "EastEnders" (it is a British television soap opera). I try to follow it, but it's not always possible. At the moment is it is so exciting because Christian told Zainab the secret about her son Syed. How will she react? Will Syed marry Amira?
